Prayer Request Katie Morris will be having hip replacement surgery in the morning VERY early in Charlotte. Please everyone say a prayer for her first thing in the morning and the last thing tonight. I feel the need to ask lots of people to say a prayer in the morning that the doctor's hands will be lead by God and that Katie will have all of her pain gone once she recovers from this surgery. Prayer Request This is about my friends son - Morgan is a Lead Pastor in TN with Outreach Across America. Last week for no known reason his son Sonny developed seizures & was brought to the hospital. Today is an update & prayer request. Feb 2, 2010 Dear friends, Thank you for all your prayers and calls and visits and text messages.... It truly means the world to lynn and I to have such wonderful friends. sonny has been transfered from Jefferson city hospital to Parkwestr in Knoxville. He is in critical condition in the ccu unit. He has very limited brain function and the dr.'s cant find anything wrong with him other than he went into seizures and the seizures shut down sonnys brain.... All we can pray for now is that my God reach down from heaven and hit the reset button in sonny brain. Please pray that he does that.. Prayer Request I am going into Baptist on Friday, February 5th for major surgery that is required before I can have a transplant. It is to prepare the place that is needed for the kidney that I hope to receive. I will have about 2-3 weeks of hard recovery before being up and about well, I am told. It will take 6 weeks to heal completely. The forecast for that morning is not good. They are talking about an early morning surgery of about 6:00 am but I have heard anything for sure. So the weather is a concern before I even get to the hospital. The surgery will take 2-3 hours to complete. I will have an incision that will go hip-to-hip. Also, my daughter does not have a support group of friends so please keep her in prayer as she takes care of her girls, works and handles her online courses: New Testament and Communications. She is stressed but holds it in well. I am praying her NT course will speak to her in ways that God knows she needs. Thank you so much. Blessings, Juanita Submitte

Prayer Request Please pray for David Kirk's family. He was our paving contractor at church. He died from a massive heart attack at age 48. Dave was a born-again Christian and a good guy. He did many little extras for us without being asked. Pray that God will give his family peace and strenght during this difficult time. Submitted By: Bill Griggs

Prayer Request (Private will not be posted online) Remember Sherry Bumgarner and her mother Portia in your prayers. Sherry's dad ( Lewis Wyatt) lost his battle with cancer on Saturday morning.
