Prayer Update Thanks to ALL for your prayers. Karl had his surgeries, yes 3 total. Good news is no muscle flap was needed. Bone was debrided & irrigated(x2) and the last one was to place a piece of material that acts like a second skin & gets the skin graft site ready for the actual skin graft that will take place in about 2 wks. Please keep him in prayer. He's having a lot of pain and is up there alone as his wife had to return to Quantico for her training. God has been good and is healing Karl as fast as possible. I thank God for all my Celebration friends/family who have stood by and prayed with me and been of upmost support. THANK YOU ALL! Submitted By: Rebecca Welch

Prayer Request Marks grandmother Virgina Dare Elliott has recently had a stroke on the right side of her brain. She is 86 yrs old and has lived on her own until now. She is currently at WRC undergoing more tests. She can still move and talk. But this stoke has caused her to be awake for a very short time and then asleep. Prayer Request Please put my son, Karl Golian, in your prayers. He is at Walter Reed Hospital in Maryland going into surgery in 2 hours for bone debridement & irrigation with a possible muscle flap as well. He's been there for about 3 wks while they fought the infection with a new procedure that failed. Appreciate all your prayers and thank you. I know he will be OK. He's in GOD'S HANDS. Prayer Request Please lift up the Bowlin family in your prayers. Their 14 year old son Austin, while on a youth ski trip to WV, collapsed on the slopes and has passed away. Extremely difficult time for all his friends and families. Please surround them with prayers. Thank you. Submitted By: Tracey

Prayer Request May the Lord bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and fill you with His joy and peace. I have a couple of prayer requests. Danielle , my daughter,called me and asked for prayer for Thomas, her boyfriend. Thomas stressed because he has been getting B's and C's in the medical program he is on (it is a hard program) and interviews are coming up for evaluation for Medical School, other people received their interview dates, but he has not. I am really praying that University of South Florida accepts him, the other option is Puerto Rico and it will be hard on him and Danielle staying alone in Tampa to finish her Master in Education. As for me, I am a little worried about the sale of the house in Miami. The accountant told me that if is not sold within two years from the time I moved out, I lose the tax break and that would not be good at all. I am counting with the sale to pay off the loans and as you know the interest rates might go up soon and the insurance of

Prayer Request Please pray for a dear friend of mine (Ben Nieman). He was my room mate in the Army and is the current worship pastor at New Hope Baptist Church in Watertown, NY. Last week he donated part of his liver to save his uncle's life in his home state of Arizona. Today, his Uncle was readmitted to the hospital for possible rejection of Ben's liver. In the last hour, I got word that Ben's Uncle was released with a medication change, but they will have to wait for some blood work to come back before they know for sure if his body has accepted the organ transplant. Prayer Request A surgeon I worked with at Watauga Medical Center, Dr Paul Dagher, has a daughter in need of our prayers. She's 17 and is in ICU at Baptist with a brain bleed. They have no idea what caused it, what kind of problems she's going to face or if she's even going to make it. Please lift up her and her family.
