Prayer Request Please pray for a young man named Nathan Handy, the son of Noial Handy and Pat Handy. Nathan, a student at ASU, is going into Baptist Hospital on Friday December 11th for surgery involving a rare heart condition. The doctors there have never seen this type condition before. Nathan's dad Noial has served Wilkes County as a Probation Officer for the past 20+ years. His mother Pat is a retired school teacher with the Wilkes County School System. Please remember her also, due to the fact that she has been recently diagnosed with Shingles. Submitted By: Jason McGuire

Praise Report Well...Praise God....Alice is coming HOME from the hospital TODAY! After praying fervently for her Friday night with 8 family members in a circle from age 6 to 80 for about an hour, we prayed for more time for her to come to the knowledge of salvation! Keep praying...last week she wasn't expected to EVER leave the hospital, but the Lord has other plans....we are praying for a miracle...for her to ask Jesus into her heart. Submitted By: Tracey S.

Prayer Request Garry's step mother had another heart attack over the weekend, they used the paddles on her in the ambulance and brought her back. When she came too, she was screaming uncontrollably and crying (she refuses to talk about Jesus at all) and has been back in the hospital all week. She has now developed pnuemonia. We know she has congestive heart failure and we realize the doctors can not do anymore especially when one refuses to give up smoking, the damage is too great for an earthly physician. Our prayer is that the wall around her heart to be penetrated so that she will accept Jesus into her heart before it's too late. We honestly believe she got a taste of hell just before they brought her back. She won't talk about it to anyone. Garry drove down to Charlotte late last night. Her name is Alice and she knows her days are numbered, but just refuses to acknowledge Jesus. Nothing is impossible. Praise Report For the Thanksgiving Dinner / Outreach at Celebration last night. I believe this was a true example of the Body of Christ being the hands and feet of Jesus here on earth. I was so blessed to be a part of this event - serving the guests we had was MY PLEASURE. May we always be a "light on the hill" at Celebration as we serve the Lord together. Prayer Request Please pray for a local family dealing with two fatalities this morning. Details are below: WILKESBORO A kindergarten student and her mother died after a head-on collision on the way to school this morning in Wilkes County, according to the N.C. Highway Patrol. A nurse, who was the driver of the other car involved in the accident, performed CPR on the girl, but the girl and her mother were pronounced dead at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. Killed were Brittney Dancy, 22, of 604 Davis Memorial Church Road, and her daughter, Makayla Birch, 5, said Trooper Alan Hall. He said Dancy was taking her daughter to kindergarten at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School. The accident happened at 7:40 a.m. as Dancy traveled north on Dragway Road. It was raining and her 1992 Honda Accord hydroplaned and crossed the centerline, Hall said.
